The Prescott Area Arts & Humanities Council presents the 5th Annual "Thumb Butte Festival," Prescott's Premier Art & Heritage Celebration on September 26th & 27th. 
The festival kicks off at the Courthouse Square during the 4th Friday Artwalk on Friday, September 25th, 6pm with a fun-filled variety show by the Elks Opera House and performance by Rio Flamenco.  The Elks Opera House Guild will be decked out in their period customs with information on festival events.
On Saturday and Sunday, September 26th & 27th,10-4pm area museums, galleries and artist studios will host over 70 local artists, craftsman, writers, and performance & heritage groups demonstrating and educating the public about their craft during this FREE Self-Guided tour.
This highly successful signature event continues to build on our past and present in a collaborative manner.  The mission is to provide a festival that brings together local artist studios, art and heritage organizations, and business people who wish to help promote Prescott as an art and heritage destination. 
Excitement about the "Thumb Butte Festival" is building fast and the number of participants continues to grow.  A map and complete list of venues will be unveiled on September 15th at the Prescott Chamber of Commerce and at
